Dear John Movie

So for all you Nicholas Sparks fans out there here is a new movie to add to your collection. Dear John is based off the novel and it's about John Tyree who is in the army. During his two weeks on leave he meets Savannah Curtis a college student on her spring break. The two fall in love and decide to keep in touch through letters once he goes back to his station in Germany. But after the 9/11 attacks he decides to re-up. The time spent apart takes it's toll on their relationship. Also part of this lovely story is the relationship between John and his autistic father who has a love of coin collecting.

For fans of the book expect a little bit of dissapointment as the movie changed on some major details in the book. But don't let that stop you from going to see this movie. Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried are a stunning couple and have very sweet chemistry. However the relationship between Tatum's character and Richard Jensen's character who plays John's father is even better.

You probably won't cry the way you did in the Notebook, but don't forget tissues, because this story will not leave you dry eyed either.
